Standard windshields are made with a vinyl resin sandwiched between two pieces of glass. The vinyl resin helps keep the glass in place during an impact. Once that vinyl resin is exposed the amount of protection it provides is reduced. It's important to fix any cracks as soon as possible as a cracked windshield can impact how clearly you can see when driving, and the sunlight's reflection on the damaged glass can cause a distracting glare.

Our autoglass service includes a lifetime warranty, and is guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects or flaws. If you note any defect within 90 days of installation, we’ll replace it at no charge. We also offer a “no leak” guarantee, for as long as you own your vehicle.

Auto Glass FAQs

  1. What is your windshield warranty?
Our auto glass service includes a lifetime warranty and is guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects or flaws. If you note any defect within 90 days of installation, we’ll replace it at no charge. We also offer a “no leak” guarantee, for as long as you own your vehicle.

  2. Is the cost of windshield replacement covered by insurance?
The cost will vary depending on your coverage. If you have full comprehensive insurance, the cost will be covered and you will simply have to pay your deductible, which may differ from your collision deductible. We suggest checking with your insurance provider to find out your coverage.

  3. How long does a windshield replacement take?
We estimate about 4 hours for a full windshield replacement. The actual glass replacement will take around one hour with an additional 2-3 hours to ensure full bonding of the sealants.

  4. I have a chip in my windshield. Do I need a replacement or can this be repaired?
Depending on the size of the chip, you might be eligible for repair instead of a full windshield replacement. We treat each chip differently, but generally:
    - Chips under 3/8 of an inch and cracks less than 3 inches in length will qualify for repair
    - The chip/crack must not be in the driver’s direct line of sight
    - The damaged area does not reach the edge of the windshield

  5. What do I do if I don’t have insurance?
Insurance or not, we are happy to supply you with a quote for your auto glass repair. Insurance is not necessary for repair/replacement but it will save you money in the long run.

  6. Do you replace all types of car windows?
Yes! We replace any window on any vehicle including windshields, side windows, back glass, quarter glass, canopy glass, and even sunroofs.
